NELFT NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Children and Young People Psychological Trainee (CYP-PT) for Systemic Family Practice with Conduct Disorder and Depression as part of an NHS England-funded programme. The role combines postgraduate study at King’s College London with supervised clinical work across CAMHS, delivering evidence-based interventions to children, young people and families.

Training starts January 2027 and is a full-time combined employment and training post.

Formación

• A minimum of a second-class Bachelor's degree from a UK university, or an overseas qualification of equivalent standard, in psychology, education, childhood development, social work or a related discipline
• A registerable professional qualification (e.g. counselling/clinical/educational psychologist, social worker, counsellor MBABP Accred, mental health nurse, occupational therapist, art/music therapist)

Responsabilidades

• Support the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people
• Undertake academic study and supervised clinical work within the service
• Travel to schools and community settings across Mid Essex as required

Educación

Bachelor's degree (2nd class or overseas equivalent)

Registered professional qualification in related field (psychologist, social worker, nurse, etc.)
