Job summary

North London NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a CAMHS Practitioner CYP-PT Therapy Trainee (CBT) as part of the NHSE-funded CYP Psychological Training Programme. The 1-year position includes salary funding and training costs, enabling trainees to bridge gaps in CYP mental health care while delivering evidence-based CBT under supervision.

Trainees will be based at Barnet CAMHS with mandatory teaching at Anna Freud in Central London.

Qualifications

• Eligible for NHS funded CYP Psychological Training Programme.
• Interested in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) within CAMHS.
• Willing to travel to teaching locations and work across sites.

Responsibilities

• Support CBT-based interventions under supervision within CAMHS.
• Attend weekly teaching sessions and apply learning to clinical work with children and young people.
• Collaborate with Barnet CAMHS and partner services to deliver integrated care.
