Job description

The M25 is one of our Flagship projects in the UK! It is the most used part of the UK Strategic Road Network, with over 200,000 vehicles per day. It includes around 800 structures and 5 tunnels, requiring high performance and constant maintenance.

We’ve formed a joint venture called Connect Plus Services (CPS) to operate and maintain the M25 under a 30-year contract until 2039. We are seeking a System Technician to support the administration, maintenance, and operation of the Brightly Confirm system for the M25 Strategic Road Network. This role involves ensuring data accuracy, troubleshooting issues, assisting users, providing frontline technical support, contributing to system improvements, and maintaining system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• User Support: Assist system users, including maintenance teams and planners, with queries and troubleshooting basic issues.
• Data Management: Input, validate, and maintain accurate records of assets, inspections, and work orders within Confirm.
• System Monitoring: Support the System Administrator in monitoring system performance, identifying issues, and escalating where necessary.
• Training & Guidance: Provide basic training to end-users on system functionality and best practices.
• Configuration Support: Assist in updating workflows, templates, and settings within the system as directed.
• Reporting & Analysis: Help generate system reports and dashboards for management and operational teams.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Brightly Confirm or similar asset management systems.
• Attention to detail in data entry, validation, and reporting.
• Basic IT troubleshooting skills and understanding of database structures.
• Experience in highways, transportation, or infrastructure industries.
• Basic SQL knowledge and understanding of system integrations.
