Job summary

Stott & May Professional Search Limited in the UK is seeking an AIT Engineer to support the integration, testing and verification of complex aerospace systems. This onsite role is based in Surrey and will run for 6-12 months, spanning the full engineering lifecycle from integration and functional testing through environmental and end-to-end system tests.

You will work with cross‑functional teams, adhere to cleanroom and ESD procedures, and document test results with full traceability.

Qualifications

• SC clearance required or willingness to obtain clearance.
• Degree in Engineering or STEM in related field.
• Understanding of assembly, integration and test (AIT) principles.
• Experience with hardware and software testing.
• Knowledge of cleanroom and ESD processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with spacecraft systems or high-reliability environments is advantageous.
• Exposure to scripting or programming (Python, Shell, Java or C/C++) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Salary: £41,500 - 71,000 per year

This is an onsite role in Surrey, starting as soon as possible, with a duration of 6-12 months.
