Job summary

Planet Pharma is seeking a System Integration Engineer to push the boundaries of embedded systems in manufacturing automation. You will work on complex IoT projects, troubleshoot hardware and software, and deliver integrated solutions across multidisciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes design of test plans, debugging embedded platforms, RF and wired protocol testing, and adherence to automation standards such as S88 and S95. Candidates should be self-driven with strong technical curiosity.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or higher.
• 3+ years in hardware/firmware/software system integration.
• Experience defining test plans and documenting tests.
• Strong debugging of embedded systems.
• Knowledge of RF and wired protocol testing.
• Familiar with IoT systems and RF/HW interfaces.
• Experience with standard test equipment for troubleshooting.
• Self-motivation with ability to work with minimal supervision.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

• A BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or higher
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in multidisciplinary (Hardware, Firmware, Software) system integration
• Proven expertise in defining test plans and designing test documentation
• Strong skills in debugging complex embedded systems
• Proficiency in protocol testing over RF and wired connections
• Ability to understand and troubleshoot IoT systems, including RF communication and HW interfaces
• Hands‑on experience with standard test equipment for troubleshooting
• Excellent technical comprehension for fast learning and adapting to new concepts
• Practical experience with automation principles such as S88, S95, and MMD IT architecture standards
• Self‑motivated with minimal supervision, highly skilled, and detail‑oriented

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with automation project management from concept to training
• Familiarity with industry standards and compliance
• Knowledge of cloud‑based IoT platforms and data analytics

Preferred Education & Experience:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• At least 3 years of relevant industry experience in embedded systems and integration
