Job Role: System Analyst - Workday Finance

Location:

Preston, Lancashire, United Kingdom

Hours:

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Purpose of the Role:

The Workday finance administrator will support day-to-day operations for Workday finance and Adaptive Planning, responding to tickets from Finance and P2P teams via Easyvista. The role involves building relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues to resolve queries related to our Workday system. The ideal candidate should have familiarity with Workday (or other ERP systems) and a desire to deepen their expertise in Workday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize the Workday finance system.
• Develop documentation for system configurations, processes, and integrations.
• Support system maintenance and administration.
• Implement configuration changes and review new features.
• Provide technical and functional support for finance processes.
• Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to meet their requirements.
• Create documentation to facilitate system change adoption.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, computer science, or related field.
• Experience with Workday administration, configuration, and optimization; certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of Workday/ERP project processes.
• Understanding of financial systems and processes.
• At least 2 years of experience working with Workday systems.
• Experience supporting Workday finance systems.
• Experience in an international organization.
• Understanding of data security principles within Workday.
• Technical background with multiple technologies.
• Experience in finance and/or IT functions.
• Knowledge of the property sector is a plus.
