Job Role: System Analyst - Workday Finance

Location: London

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

The purpose of this role is:

The Workday finance administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day operational support for Workday finance and Adaptive Planning, including responding to tickets raised from the Finance and P2P teams on Easyvista.

You will build relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues to understand and resolve their queries regarding our Workday system.

The ideal candidate should be familiar with Workday (or other ERP systems) and eager to deepen their knowledge of Workday.

You will be a member of the Workday competence centre team, providing post go-live support and enhancements to our Workday solutions. This role and team will grow as we expand our Workday finance deployment.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage the Workday finance system configuration and optimisation across the business.
• Support Workday finance users on a daily basis.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and integrations.
• Administer and maintain the Workday finance system.
• Support configuration changes, review new system features, and assist in delivery.
• Provide technical and functional support for finance business processes.
• Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to understand their requirements and challenges.
• Create and deliver documentation to facilitate successful system change adoption.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience with Workday administration, configuration, and optimization (certification is a plus).
• Knowledge of Workday/ERP project processes.
• Strong understanding of financial systems and business processes.
• At least 2 years of experience working with Workday systems is desirable.
• Experience in a Workday finance support role.
• Experience working with international organisations.
• Understanding of data security principles and implementing security measures in Workday.
• Technical background across multiple technologies.
• Experience in finance and IT functions.
• Knowledge of the property sector is a plus.
