Job Role: System Analyst - Workday Finance

Location: London

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

The purpose of this role is:

The Workday finance administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day operational support for Workday finance and Adaptive Planning, including responding to tickets raised from the Finance and P2P teams on Easyvista.

You will build relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues to understand and resolve their queries related to our Workday system.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable with Workday (or other ERP systems) and eager to deepen their knowledge of Workday.

This role involves being part of the Workday competence centre team, providing post go-live support and enhancements for Workday solutions, supporting and improving our existing Workday deployment. The team will grow as we expand our Workday finance deployment.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage the configuration and optimization of the Workday finance system across the business.
• Support Workday finance users daily.
• Develop and maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and integrations.
• Administer and maintain the Workday finance system.
• Support configuration changes, review new features, and assist in delivery.
• Provide technical and functional support for finance business processes.
• Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to understand their needs.
• Create documentation to facilitate system change adoption.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, computer science, or related field.
• Experience with Workday administration, configuration, and optimization (certification is a plus).
• Knowledge of Workday/ERP project processes.
• Understanding of financial systems and processes.
• At least 2 years of experience working with Workday systems.
• Experience in a Workday finance support role.
• Experience working in an international organization.
• Knowledge of data security principles and implementing security in Workday.
• Technical background across multiple technologies.
• Experience in finance and/or IT functions.
• Knowledge of the property sector is a plus.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn new technical areas quickly.
