Job Description:

Job Role: System Analyst - Workday Finance

Location: London

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

The purpose of this role is:

The Workday finance administrator will support the day-to-day operations of Workday finance and Adaptive Planning, responding to tickets raised from the Finance and P2P teams via Easyvista.

You will build relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues to understand and resolve their queries regarding the Workday system.

The ideal candidate should be familiar with Workday (or other ERP systems) and eager to deepen their knowledge of Workday.

You will be part of the Workday competence centre team, providing post go-live support and enhancements, supporting and expanding the Workday deployment.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage the Workday finance system configuration and optimisation across the business.
• Support Workday finance users daily.
• Document system configurations, processes, and integrations.
• Administer and maintain Workday finance.
• Support configuration changes, review new features, and assist in delivery.
• Provide technical and functional support for finance processes.
• Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to understand requirements.
• Create documentation to facilitate system changes adoption.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, computer science, or related field.
• Experience with Workday administration, configuration, and optimization (certification a plus).
• Knowledge of Workday/ERP project processes.
• Understanding of financial systems and processes.
• At least 2 years of experience working with Workday systems.
• Experience in a support role for Workday finance systems.
• Experience with international organisations.
• Understanding of data security principles and implementing security in Workday.
• Technical background across multiple technologies.
• Experience in finance and/or IT functions.
• Knowledge of property sector is a plus.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Quick learner of new technical areas.
