Job summary

Places Leisure, part of Places for People, is seeking a Swimming Coordinator to manage the swim programme, schedule lessons, coordinate school programmes and lead the swim teachers across our venues.

You will deliver high-quality customer service to pool users, empower instructors, and drive CPD with a passion for swimming and lifelong learning. A strong commercial mindset and safeguarding awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• The successful applicant will have previous management experience and a commercial background, ideally in swimming.
• Commitment to ongoing CPD (attending at least 2 courses/workshops per year).
• Good working knowledge of the Swim England Learn to Swim Pathway.

Responsibilities

• Manage the swim programme, scheduling 1:1 lessons and school swim programmes.
• Lead and empower swimming instructors to motivate and instruct pupils.
• Deliver a high level of customer service to pool customers.
