Job summary

Freedom Leisure in the United Kingdom is seeking a Swim Teacher for casual hours at our centres. You will deliver swimming lessons to children and adults, prioritising safety and progression in a welcoming environment.

With full training provided and a DBS check, you’ll join a friendly team delivering high-quality lessons. The role offers flexible hours, staff discounts, and potential permanent opportunities within Freedom Leisure.

Qualifications

• To teach swimming to children and/or adults as part of the Leisure Centre’s programme, according to qualification, training and experience.
• Communicate with the children’s parents/guardians concerning their development, and advise on their progression through the programme.
• Assist in the supervision of customers in the swimming pool and surrounds, ensuring their safety and discipline.

Responsibilities

• Excellent communication skills with a genuine desire to work closely with customers.
• An ability to assist with children and their parents.
• Enhanced DBS check to be carried out.
