Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking enthusiastic Swim Teachers to join our friendly team. You will teach either in group or individual lessons as part of our Swim School, delivering engaging sessions across our leisure centres.

We provide full training and progression opportunities; flexible casual hours; Welsh language skills are desirable; DBS check is required. This role supports a not-for-profit leisure trust committed to communities across the UK.

Qualifications

• Teach swimming to children and adults as part of the Leisure Centre's programme.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about development and progression.
• Assist in supervising customers in and around the pool to ensure safety.
• Excellent communication skills with a genuine desire to work closely with customers.
• DBS check is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming to children and/or adults as part of the Leisure Centre's swimming lesson programme, according to qualification, training and experience.
• Communicate with the children's parents/guardians concerning their development, and advise on progression through the programme.
• Assist in the supervision of customers in the swimming pool and surrounds, ensuring their safety and discipline.
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
