Freedom Leisure’s Tenterden Leisure Centre is hiring a Swim Teacher on casual hours. You will deliver swimming lessons to all ages, ensuring learners feel supported and are progressing. Training and DBS checks are provided to get you started, with strong emphasis on safety and customer care.

The role offers flexible hours within a welcoming team across England’s leisure centres, with opportunities for growth as you help the community stay healthy and active.

Qualifications

• Level 2 swim teaching qualification.
• Enhanced DBS check.
• Excellent communication with customers.
• Ability to assist children and their parents.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming to children and/or adults as part of the centre’s programme.
• Communicate with children's parents/guardians about development and progression.
• Assist in supervising customers in the swimming pool and surrounds, ensuring safety.
• Maintain excellent customer service and a friendly approach.
