Job summary

Freedom Leisure is recruiting a Swim Teacher to deliver lessons to customers of all ages at our England centres. You will work on a rota basis, 3–6.5 hours per week, helping people gain water confidence and improve techniques in a welcoming environment.

No need to be an expert at start—we provide training. You will hold a Level 2 Swim Teaching qualification and an Enhanced DBS check; excellent communication with parents and staff helps families feel supported and safe.

Qualifications

• To teach swimming to children and adults within the Leisure Centre programme.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about child development and progression.
• Supervise pool users to ensure safety and discipline.
• Excellent communication with customers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming to children and/or adults as part of the Leisure Centre’s programme.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about development and progression.
• Assist in supervision of customers in the pool area to ensure safety.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and engagement.
