Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking a Swim Teacher for casual hours across its centres. You will deliver swimming lessons to customers of all ages, with training provided. The role pays up to £17 per hour and requires Level 2 Swim Teaching qualification and an enhanced DBS check.

You’ll communicate with parents about progress, supervise pool activities, and help create a welcoming, safe environment for all participants.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Swim Teaching qualification is required.
• Excellent communication with customers and parents.
• DBS check will be carried out.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming to children and adults as part of the programme.
• Communicate progress to children’s parents/guardians.
• Assist in supervising customers in the swimming pool area.
• Ensure safety and discipline around the pool.
