Job summary

1Life Management Solutions Ltd in Dunmow, Essex seeks a dedicated Swimming Teacher to deliver group and one-to-one lessons, following Swim England Learn to Swim Framework, and conduct at least one annual crash course.

You will assess progress, maintain safety, document progress on a tablet, and contribute to high-quality lessons, safeguarding, and ongoing CPD; eligibility requires NRASTC/NPLQ and DBS clearance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate well with both children and adults in a teaching setting.
• Able to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues and teachers.
• Some flexibility in working hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver group and one-to-one swimming lessons following Swim England Learn to Swim Framework.
• Deliver at least 1 crash course during the year.
• Maintain high quality lessons in line with company standards and schemes of work.
• Deliver water safety training per company competencies.
• Provide in-water and out-of-water explanations and demonstrations of techniques.
• Assess progress and update records on the tablet after each lesson.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols per company policies.
• Pursue CPDs hosted by the company.
