Lex Leisure seeks a part-time Swimming Teacher to deliver group and individual swimming lessons as part of our Learn to Swim Programme. Responsibilities include in- and out-of-water coaching, using the Swim England framework, and maintaining safety standards.

Successful applicants will hold SEQ Level 1/2 qualifications (or equivalent), NPLQ or NRASTC, and be able to communicate well with children and adults. DBS disclosure is required, with ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• SEQ Level 1 Swimming Assistant (Teaching) qualification.
• SEQ Level 2 Swimming Teacher Qualification or equivalent.
• NPLQ or NRASTC.
• Able to communicate well with children and adults in teaching setting.

Responsabilités

• Deliver group and one-to-one lessons following Learn to Swim Framework.
• Deliver at least 1 crash course during the year.
• Deliver high quality lessons in line with standards and schemes of work.
• Deliver internal water safety competencies “Swim Safer, Smarter, Stronger.”
• Provide explanations and demonstrate techniques in and out of water.
• Carry out progress assessments and update on tablet after each lesson.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain DBS clearance and DBS disclosure as required.
