Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a part-time Swim Instructor in Ilford to provide safe, effective swimming lessons within our fitness sites. You will hold ASA Level 2 or Swim England Level 2 and bring strong people skills to coach swimmers of all ages, from beginners to those seeking performance goals.

Base on ad-hoc bank shifts, you will deliver one-to-one or group sessions and promote memberships while upholding our high standard of safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must hold ASA Level 2 or Swim England Level 2 qualification.
• Excellent communication and people skills are essential.
• Experience delivering swimming lessons is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one or group swimming lessons.
• Engage swimmers of all ages and abilities to help them reach goals.
• Promote memberships by explaining facility advantages.

Swim Instructor

Ilford FWC | Pool | Bank | Part Time | Up to £20.65 per hour depending on experience plus benefits

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Swim Instructor at one of our fitness and wellbeing sites, you'll need to have a ASA level 2 or Swim England Level 2 qualification, together with good people skills and a love for all things swimming. At Nuffield Health we have a variety of swimmers of all ages and abilities and run our lessons through the Swim England framework.

You will gain experience of achieving targets and working with colleagues to improve the performance of your lessons.
