Job summary

Nuffield Health Wakefield FWC is seeking a confident Swim Instructor to deliver safe, effective swimming lessons. You must hold ASA Level 2 or Swim England Level 2 and enjoy working with a variety of swimmers, from beginners to improvers, within the Swim England framework.

This ad-hoc bank role offers flexible shifts with pay up to £18.50 per hour depending on experience and benefits as part of our healthcare charity. Join us to help people stay active and healthy.

Qualifications

• Good people skills and a love for swimming.
• Experience delivering lessons or classes is desirable.

Responsibilities

As a Swim Instructor at one of our fitness and wellbeing sites, you'll need to have a ASA level 2 or Swim England Level 2 qualification, together with good people skills and a love for all things swimming. At Nuffield Health we have a variety of swimmers of all ages and abilities and run our lessons through the Swim England framework.

You will gain experience of achieving targets and working with colleagues to improve the performance of your lessons.

As a Swim Instructor you will:

• Engage and inspire swimmers of all ages to achieve their swimming goals

• Deliver one-to-one lessons or group classes

• Have a talent for teaching that meets people's individual needs
