Job summary

Citi is seeking an experienced leader to head the Equities Electronic-Execution technology team in the EMEA region. You will design and deliver high-performance, low-latency connectivity platforms and lead a geographically distributed group of engineers working with product, research, and production teams.

The role requires deep fintech expertise in DMA/FIX, strong strategic leadership, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders while delivering scalable, reliable systems.”

Qualifications

• Extensive fintech experience with low-latency systems.
• Proven track record leading distributed engineering teams in a finance setting.
• Deep experience in building electronic trading/connectivity platforms (DMA, FIX).
• Strong ability to set strategy, roadmaps, and run large multi-year programs.
• Excellent communication skills for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, lead, and deliver Citi's next-gen low-latency connectivity platforms.
• Mentor and manage a geographically distributed engineering team.
• Partner with product, quantitative research, and operations to translate business needs into tech roadmaps.
• Drive platform architecture, reliability, and performance at scale.
• Promote Agile, CI/CD, and AI-powered SDLC practices across the team.
