Job summary

Civic is seeking a talented Structural Design Engineer to join our Studio, collaborating with private and public sector clients to deliver sustainable designs. You will influence with technical expertise while developing people, planning resources and managing deadlines in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• On your chartership journey and keen to develop.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, presenting and checking drawings and calculations.
• Briefing Technicians and Graduates on the above.
• Attending site and project team meetings under the direction of a Senior Engineer/Associate.
• Occasional visits to construction sites for survey/inspection of works.
• Contributing to writing bids and fees proposals.
• On project training.
• Compliance with the duties of Designer under the CDM Regulations 2015.
• Compliance with the Practice QMS.
