Job summary

Civic, a UK-based design practice, seeks a Structural Design Engineer to join the studio and work with high-profile private and public-sector clients, shaping technical solutions and coordinating with the team.

You’ll contribute to sustainable design and collaborate across architecture and the public realm, while developing leadership and project management skills in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Structural engineering design
• Preparing, presenting and checking drawings and calculations
• Briefing Technicians and Graduates on the above
• Attending site and project team meetings under the direction of a Senior Engineer/Associate
• Occasional visits to construction sites for survey/inspection of works
• Internal reviews/critiques
• Contributing to writing bids and fees proposals
• On project training
