Job summary

Emtech Recruitment is seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with a strong focus on sustainability and the built environment.

You will work alongside Senior and Associate Engineers on a range of projects, developing technical and leadership skills while contributing to design reviews and client deliverables. Hybrid working is available, with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience producing structural calculations and drawings.
• Strong technical, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake structural engineering design and analysis.
• Prepare, present and check drawings and calculations.
• Brief and support Technicians and Graduate Engineers.
• Attend site and project team meetings.
• Carry out occasional site surveys and inspections.
• Contribute to design reviews, bids and fee proposals.
• Develop project management, resource planning and commercial skills.
• Support junior team members and contribute to their development.
• Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and company QMS.
