Job summary

Civic is seeking a Senior Associate Engineer to lead structural design across UK projects in residential, education and commercial sectors. You will manage engineers and technicians, support Directors, and drive business development and client engagement.

Hybrid work model with studio presence and emphasis on sustainable design and growth strategy. Chartered Engineer status preferred; BD and bid writing are key components of the role.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer status or working toward CEng.
• Experience leading engineering teams on multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong ability to develop and win work through client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering design across projects in the built environment.
• Manage multiple projects, budgets, and resources with Directors.
• Develop and maintain a network of clients and opportunities.
• Prepare bids, proposals, and presentations for BD efforts.
• Ensure compliance with CDM 2015 and QMS procedures.
