Job summary

Anglian Water is seeking an Enabling Framework Manager to lead the development and management of enabling frameworks for its £9bn capital delivery programme across the East Anglia region. This permanent role focuses on strategic procurement, sustainability, and collaboration with partners to deliver best value.

You will drive supplier relationships, ensure compliance, and provide strategic insight to senior management while supporting climate resilience and environmental protection within

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in procurement, business, engineering, or environmental management.
• Experience managing frameworks, contracts, or supplier relationships in engineering/utilities/construction.
• Strong commercial acumen focusing on efficiency, compliance and value creation.
• Excellent stakeholder management across complex project environments.
• Passion for sustainability, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Professional qualifications such as MCIPS, Prince2, or equivalent delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and management of enabling frameworks to deliver best value and align with environmental objectives.
• Strengthen supplier relationships, fostering collaboration and innovation across the supply chain.
• Drive performance and efficiency by reviewing and improving processes.
• Champion compliance and best practice, ensuring contractual, regulatory, and safety requirements are met.
• Provide strategic insights via reports and recommendations for senior management.
• Promote sustainable procurement throughout the framework lifecycle.
• Collaborate across procurement, environment, and project delivery teams to ensure frameworks are integrated.
