Job summary

Anglian Water is seeking a Procurement Specialist to lead strategic sourcing initiatives for Programme Development, developing upgrades to infrastructure and resilience against climate change impacts. You will deliver commercially astute agreements for large projects, including AWRC and desalination schemes, within an £11bn plan.

Qualifications

• CIPS professional standard and membership or studying towards.
• Experience in procurement of operational services or capital projects.
• Able to run complex tender processes including RFI/RFP.
• Experience in strategic sourcing events from strategy to completion.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver a procurement plan for a range of spend categories to support project portfolio development.
• Identify opportunities for consolidating spend, improving resilience and tendering processes.
• Support the development of call-off agreements and manage supplier performance.
• Demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement and project-focused procurement delivery.
