Job summary

Anglian Water Group is seeking an Enabling Framework Manager to lead the development and management of enabling frameworks within its £9bn capital investment programme, focused on sustainable procurement, supplier collaboration, and value.

Reporting to the Head of Enabling, you will balance commercial rigour with environmental and social goals, govern contracts, and drive performance across the supply chain to deliver high-quality infrastructure for the region.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline (procurement, business, engineering, or environmental management).
• Demonstrable experience managing frameworks, contracts, or supplier relationships within engineering/utilities/construction.
• Strong commercial acumen with focus on efficiency, compliance, and value creation.
• Excellent stakeholder management across complex project environments.
• Passion for sustainability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Ideally MCIPS, Prince2, or equivalent structured delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and management of enabling frameworks delivering best value and sustainability objectives.
• Strengthen supplier relationships and foster collaboration across the supply chain.
• Drive performance and efficiency, reviewing and improving processes for high-quality outcomes.
• Champion compliance and safety requirements across frameworks and contracts.
• Provide strategic insight with reports, analysis, and recommendations for senior management.
• Promote environmental and social value throughout the framework lifecycle.
• Collaborate with procurement, environment, and project delivery teams to integrate frameworks.
