Job summary

Arup offers a six-week internship where you work with façade engineering professionals on real projects for new-build and refurbishment across the UK and internationally. You’ll be part of multidisciplinary design teams delivering safe, sustainable and high-performing building envelopes that respond to architectural, environmental and operational requirements.

You will engage in technical design and analysis, drawing, preparing documents and presenting ideas, with opportunities to visit

Qualifications

• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Structural/Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; CAD/3D tools such as AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams on façade projects.
• Undertake technical design and analysis; draw, prepare documents and present ideas; may visit factories and sites.
