Job summary

Arup invites applications for a Mechanical Engineer Summer Internship in Manchester within our Building Services teams. This 6-week program focuses on building design and sustainability, offering hands-on experience in a global consultancy.

You will work with Architects, Building Services, Building Physics and Project Managers to deliver client services and develop practical design ideas using 3D and thermal software.

Qualifications

• Final or penultimate year student pursuing a MEng or BEng in Mechanical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
• Demonstrate motivation and passion for building design and sustainability.
• Willingness to learn 3D and thermal software and develop ideas into designs.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of project teams on building services design and delivery.
• Collaborate with Architects, Building Services, Building Physics and Project Managers.
