Job summary

Arup in Belfast is offering a six-week Summer Internship for Mechanical Building Services Engineers. You will join our Buildings teams to work on projects that drive sustainability and energy efficiency while gaining hands-on design experience.

You will collaborate with Architects, Building Services, Building Physics and other engineers, using 3D and thermal software to develop ideas into practical designs.

Qualifications

• Final or penultimate year pursuing a MEng or BEng in Mechanical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering.
• Strong motivation and passion for a career in building design.
• Keen to learn 3D and thermal software; proactively develop ideas into designs.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of project teams to deliver effective services to clients.
• Collaborate with Architects, Building Services, Building Physics, Geotechnical Engineers, Surveyors and Project Managers.
• Support design development and sustainability objectives.
