Job summary

Arup in Glasgow invites current students in their final or penultimate year to apply for a 6-week Mechanical Building Services Summer Internship. You will join a multi-disciplinary Buildings team to develop skills in sustainable building design and client-focused delivery.

You will work with Architects, Building Services, and other engineers, gaining hands-on experience while learning to use 3D and thermal software in real projects across diverse building types.

Qualifications

• Final or penultimate year of study toward a MEng or BEng in Mechanical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering.
• Demonstrate motivation for a career in building design and sustainability.
• Willingness to learn 3D and thermal software and contribute to design ideas.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of project teams to deliver professional services to clients.
• Collaborate with Architects, Building Services, Building Physics and Geotechnical Engineers.
• Support from project managers across the built environment lifecycle.
