Job summary

Arup in Newcastle is recruiting Mechanical or Building Services Engineering Summer Students to join our established Buildings teams across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to develop skills in building design and sustainability within a multidisciplinary practice.

During this 6-week internship you will work on project teams delivering services to clients, collaborating with Architects, Building Services, and Project Managers to gain hands-on experience in the built environment.

Qualifications

• You must be in your final or penultimate year studying towards a MEng or BEng in Mechanical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.
• Demonstrate strong motivation and passion for a career in building design.
• STEM minded individuals who are keen to use their engineering acumen to design the services that make Buildings comfortable for their users.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of project teams to deliver effective and professional services to clients.
• Collaborate with Architects, Building Services, Building Physics and Geotechnical Engineers, Surveyors and Project Managers.
