Job summary

Arup invites a Mechanical Building Services student to join our Newcastle team for a six-week internship. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver effective services to clients and gain hands-on experience in sustainable building design.

You will collaborate with Architects, Building Services, Building Physics and Geotechnical Engineers, Surveyors and Project Managers to develop practical solutions while learning 3D and thermal software in a professional setting.

Qualifications

• You must be in your final or penultimate year studying towards a MEng or BEng in Mechanical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent
• Demonstrate strong motivation and passion for a career in building design
• STEM minded individuals who are keen to use their engineering acumen to design the services that make Buildings comfortable for their users.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of project teams to deliver effective and professional services to clients during the 6-week internship
• Collaborate with Architects, Building Services, Building Physics and Geotechnical Engineers, Surveyors and Project Managers to develop designs and solutions
