Job summary

WPS is seeking a Sustainability Reporting and Compliance Manager to own the corporate reporting framework from Finsbury Park, London. You will lead the cycle, coordinate SECR and climate disclosures, and ensure robust controls with external assurance, working with Finance, IT and senior leadership.

You will translate complex regulations into practical actions, oversee the Annual Report process, and influence across Sustainability, Procurement, and Operations to deliver timely, accurate reports.

Qualifications

• Strong track record in corporate sustainability or environmental reporting.
• Experience with UK sustainability and environmental reporting requirements.
• Experience preparing or coordinating disclosures for an Annual Report and Accounts.
• Experience establishing reporting controls and audit trails with external assurance.
• Ability to influence and manage stakeholders, including senior and board-level audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the sustainability reporting framework, calendar and governance processes.
• Coordinate sustainability disclosures for the Annual Report and Accounts.
• Deliver SECR, climate-related disclosures and emerging requirements.
• Establish robust reporting controls and coordinate external assurance.
• Collaborate across Sustainability, Finance, Procurement, Fleet, Property, Operations, HR, Social Value and IT.
• Translate regulatory requirements into clear actions for the business.
• Provide technical advice to senior leaders and the Board.
• Manage the budget for reporting systems, external guidance and assurance.
• Keep ahead of changes in reporting requirements and assist in preparation.
