Job summary

Standard Life plc is seeking a Sustainability & Climate Reporting Lead to shape and deliver reporting in a dynamic regulatory environment. You will translate evolving requirements into robust disclosures across Finance and the wider business, ensuring strong controls and practical leadership.

The role requires deep expertise in TCFD, UK SRS, and related standards, with a track record of delivering high-quality external reporting within financial services. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• Strong technical sustainability and climate reporting expertise.
• Experience with financial services reporting and regulatory standards.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into clear disclosures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of sustainability and climate reporting for Standard Life and entities within TCFD scope.
• Drive implementation of UK SRS, data, controls and governance across reporting.
• Shape reporting strategy within Finance to strengthen near-term and longer-term readiness.
• Act as a senior sustainability reporting SME, giving practical guidance to Finance and stakeholders.
• Foster relationships across Finance and the wider organisation for data and governance.
• Support assurance and control readiness with evidence, governance and controls.
• Monitor external reporting landscape and translate developments into priorities.
