Standard Life plc is seeking a Sustainability & Climate Reporting Lead to shape and deliver our reporting approach across the finance function. This role blends technical reporting with strong judgment and leadership to translate evolving requirements into robust disclosures, processes and controls.

You will work across Finance and the business to implement UK SRS and other regulatory requirements, acting as a senior SME and guiding stakeholders through complex reporting matters with clarity and

Qualifications

• Strong technical sustainability and climate reporting expertise in a financial services environment.
• Experience applying mandatory and voluntary reporting frameworks and standards (e.g., TCFD, UK SRS).
• Controls and assurance mindset with attention to detail in high‑quality reporting.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into practical reporting and governance actions.
• Proven stakeholder management and ability to challenge thinking clearly and persuasively.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of controlled sustainability and climate reporting including TCFD disclosures.
• Lead and support implementation of emerging sustainability reporting requirements (UK SRS).
• Shape sustainability reporting strategy within Finance and strengthen near-term and longer-term readiness.
• Act as a senior sustainability reporting SME for Finance and business stakeholders.
• Build relationships across Finance and the wider organisation to align sustainability information, reporting, risk and governance.
• Support assurance and control readiness with evidence, governance and reporting controls.
