Job summary

Siemens is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its Smart Buildings & Sustainability team to lead decarbonisation and energy transformation projects across the UK. You will manage on-site delivery, coordinate internal teams and subcontractors, control budgets and schedules, and ensure safety and quality.

The role involves travel to customer sites and involves technologies such as heat pumps, solar PV, EV charging and Building Management Systems, with a focus on delivering measurable carbon

Qualifications

• Experience delivering construction, building services, M&E, energy, infrastructure or sustainability projects.
• Experience managing subcontractors, programmes, budgets and site delivery.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practice.
• SMSTS qualification.
• PM qualifications such as APM, PRINCE2 or PMP.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly to project sites across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Leading the safe and successful delivery of sustainability, energy and building transformation projects.
• Managing on-site activities from mobilisation through to commissioning and handover.
• Coordinating internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
• Overseeing the installation and integration of technologies including heat pumps, solar PV, EV charging infrastructure and Building Management Systems.
• Managing project budgets, schedules, resources, risks and commercial performance.
• Ensuring compliance with all health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for customers and key stakeholders throughout project delivery.
• Providing regular progress updates and ensuring project objectives and milestones are achieved.
• Supporting the deployment of digital solutions and services that optimise building performance and energy efficiency.
• Driving a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and operational excellence on site.
