Job summary

Siemens is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Smart Buildings & Sustainability to lead a portfolio of building decarbonisation and energy transformation projects across the UK.

You will work closely with customers, subcontractors and Siemens teams to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery of heat pump, solar PV, EV charging, and BMS installations while maintaining high safety and quality standards. The role is home-based with travel to customer sites and projects in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering construction, building services, or sustainability projects.
• Strong understanding of M&E systems in retrofit environments.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors, budgets and schedules.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe and successful delivery of sustainability, energy and building transformation projects.
• Manage on-site activities from mobilisation through to commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers to deliver projects efficiently.
• Oversee installation and integration of heat pumps, solar PV, EV charging and BMS.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, risks and commercial performance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Act as primary contact for customers and key stakeholders during delivery.
• Provide regular progress updates and ensure milestones are achieved.
• Support deployment of digital solutions that optimise building performance.
• Foster continuous improvement and operational excellence on site.
