Job summary

Siemens Smart Infrastructure seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead a portfolio of building decarbonisation and energy transformation projects across the UK. You will collaborate with customers, subcontractors, consultants and Siemens teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will manage on-site activities, coordinate internal and external teams, and ensure health and safety compliance while driving continuous improvement and successful

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering construction, building services, M&E, energy, infrastructure or sustainability projects.
• Strong understanding of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) systems within construction/refurbishment/retrofit environments.
• Experience managing subcontractors, project programmes, budgets and site delivery activities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practice.
• SMSTS qualification.
• Project management qualifications such as APM, PRINCE2 or PMP.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly to project sites across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Leading the safe and successful delivery of sustainability, energy and building transformation projects.
• Managing on-site activities from mobilisation through to commissioning and handover.
• Coordinating internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.
• Overseeing installation and integration of technologies including heat pumps, solar PV, EV charging infrastructure and Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Managing project budgets, schedules, resources, risks and commercial performance.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for customers and stakeholders throughout delivery.
• Providing regular progress updates and ensuring milestones are achieved.
• Supporting deployment of digital solutions and services that optimise building performance.
• Driving a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and operational excellence on site.
