Job summary

Pertemps Newcastle seeks a Project Manager to join its Renewable Energy & Net Zero team in Newcastle upon Tyne. This permanent, full-time role oversees the complete lifecycle of sustainable infrastructure schemes from feasibility through delivery and handover, delivering high-impact projects that support the transition to a low-carbon future.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in renewable energy, sustainability, or infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of net zero, ESG and decarbonisation.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects with excellent stakeholder management.
• PM qualification preferred (PRINCE2, PMP, APM).

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution and delivery of renewable energy and net zero projects.
• Manage timelines, budgets, risks and resources.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, consultants, contractors and external partners.
• Ensure regulatory, environmental and health & safety compliance.
• Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders.
• Support business development including bid preparation and client engagement.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in project delivery.
