Job summary

Wales & West Utilities Limited is seeking a Net Zero Project Manager on a 24-month contract to drive the Net Zero strategy across WWU, delivering decarbonisation projects and supporting the Portfolio Manager and Hydrogen Transformation Manager.

The role involves developing projects from concept to delivery, attending external forums, coordinating with stakeholders, producing timely updates, and managing technical aspects of various projects.

Qualifications

• Either Mechanical or Energy engineering, or Commercial experience is essential.
• Ability to think strategically, support analysis and work across future scenarios.
• Experience liaising with multiple stakeholders and representing an organisation externally.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver industrial decarbonisation work packages within projects and various areas of the Net Zero Innovation Portfolio.
• Engage and manage key partners within existing industrial clusters to deliver WWU’s strategic aims.
• Support the Net Zero Portfolio Manager – Industrial Clusters to influence and progress network infrastructure development.
• Attend workshops and represent WWU in external forums and with key organisations.
