Job summary

Diageo in Moray House, Scotland, is seeking a Process Engineer on a fixed-term 12-month contract. You will join a hands-on technical team focused on advancing Scotch production, water and energy efficiency, and environmental performance across our distilleries and sites.

You will work with site teams, Global Project Engineering and business partners to lead water and carbon‑reduction projects, apply statistical tools, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering required
• Experience leading and delivering projects within a team
• Confident working with a wide range of colleagues and collaborators
• Strong, engaging communication skills
• Experience using statistical analysis tools and IS packages
• Full clean driving licence with more than one year of driving experience

Responsibilities

• Guide and assist water and carbon‑reduction projects across the Scotch category with operational teams
• Provide technical insights to improve water and energy efficiency
• Benchmark internally and externally for innovations and opportunities
• Build collaborations across finance, HR, risk & governance, procurement
• Champion high standards and sustainability performance
• Coach others to use data and root‑cause tools for structured problem solving
• Foster multi‑disciplinary collaboration and ownership of challenges
