Job Description:

Elevation Recruitment Group is partnering with an internationally renowned retailer to find a dynamic Sustainability Manager to join their team based at their Head Office in London.

Salary - up to £70k

The Sustainability Manager will spearhead the development and implementation of green policies and initiatives, focusing on ensuring the long-term sustainability of resources for future generations.

Duties of the Sustainability Manager include:

• Measure the reduction in greenhouse gas emissions from operations and supply chain.
• Assess the sustainability practices of suppliers and ensure transparency throughout the supply chain.
• Evaluate energy consumption and deficiencies across all businesses.
• Develop and implement environmentally conscious practices.
• Understand the environmental impact of the business and put in place measures to reduce year on year.
• Evaluate suppliers, monitor supply chain, and promote fair trade practices.

We are keen to speak with Sustainability Managers with the following:

• Degree in either Energy Management, Environmental Science, or Sustainable Development.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to influence and secure buy-in.
• A deep knowledge and passion for sustainability, with subject matter expertise in environmental areas including Net Zero pathways and Waste & Circularity.
• Demonstrable experience of leading sustainability change in complex environments.
