JR United Kingdom is seeking a Project & Process Manager for Sustainability to lead and manage sustainability initiatives. This role involves championing sustainability practices, managing projects with significant financial investment, and driving cross-organizational collaboration within a leading global company.
Role: Project & Process Manager - Sustainability
Type: Temporary – 12 Months
Location: Macclesfield – 3 days on-site per week / 2 days remote
The purpose of this role is to manage projects and own processes supporting the enterprise-wide transformation of sustainability performance. The role involves championing an approach where sustainability is fully embedded in all activities, impacting flagship sustainability initiatives.
The Project & Process Manager is responsible for risk, benefits, and value management, resolving or escalating risks and issues as needed. They ensure project teams adhere to quality and compliance standards and support assurance activities.
Projects led by this role may require significant financial investment and involve reputational risk, with a large internal and external stakeholder base.
The role demands cross-organizational ownership, global connectivity, and representation of Global Sustainability internally and externally.
The role holder will act as a Business Process Owner within Global Sustainability, including process review, improvement, and implementation.
