If yes, our client, a leading global Promotional Marketing Agency that partners with some of the world's biggest brands is seeking a visionary SENIOR SUSTAINABILITY & SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER to join their core global team.

This is a LONDON based FULLY REMOTE role that reports into the COO and partners closely with the client, growth and licensee teams, and collaborates with licensees, suppliers, and internal teams across operations, procurement, and client services to drive measurable improvements in sustainability impact.

ROLE PURPOSE

As the Senior Sustainability & Supply Chain Manager you are the critical connector responsible for influencing both strategic direction and daily execution, sitting at the heart of agency’s mission to lead in supply chain transformation and sustainability.

As the agency navigates an evolving landscape of ESG requirements, regulatory changes, and client expectations, your expertise will ensure they remain at the forefront—delivering transparency, operational excellence, and brand distinction across our international network.

The Senior Sustainability & Supply Chain Manager will lead and coordinate strategic initiatives in supply chain transparency and compliance, ethical sourcing, ESG reporting, and licensee engagement. Operating within a small global team, this individual will drive system-level change and foster global alignment across the network.

This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on supply chain due diligence and sustainability data tracking.

Global Consistency: With a diverse licensee network, they must harmonize their approach to investment, talent, and knowledge to meet tomorrow’s challenges.

KEY SKILLS

Sustainability Expertise

  • Deep understanding of environmental and social sustainability frameworks
  • Familiarity with global certifications, compliance standards, and audit protocols
  • Experience implementing circular economy and eco-design principles

Data & Digital Fluency

  • Advanced Excel + sustainability data platforms (e.g. EcoVadis), ERP and supply chain software knowledge (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, etc.)
  • Ability to develop process, build dashboards and interpret insights for internal and external reporting
  • Understanding of traceability technologies (e.g. blockchain, RFID)

Supply Chain Operations

  • Expertise in sourcing, procurement, vendor management
  • Familiarity with global logistics, warehousing, and customs

Strategic & Commercial Acumen

  • Ability to translate sustainability into brand value and commercial advantage
  • Experience aligning sustainability with product development and marketing
  • Strong negotiation, client and partner engagement skills

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams and global stakeholders
  • Ability to organise and manage complex supplier networks across regions
  • Clear communication to execs, clients, and third-party auditors

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Sustainability & Supply Chain Leadership

  • Lead the global sustainability and supply chain practices, including introducing new innovations (e.g. adaptive merchandise)
  • Lead supplier compliance monitoring, ensuring adherence to ethical sourcing, human rights, and environmental standards (e.g., EcoVadis, SEDEX, BSCI, FSC)
  • Familiarity with Scope 3 emissions, LCA tools, or product certification schemes (FSC, GOTS, GRS).
  • Manage supplier self-assessments and audits, monitoring and escalating risks where necessary
  • Ensure alignment between core company goals and licensee sourcing execution
  • Maintain and improve supply chain due diligence systems, documentation, and reporting processes
  • Work with global procurement teams to develop and roll out more sustainable sourcing strategies and preferred supplier lists
  • Evaluate and implement data process and digital tools for transparency and impact measurement
  • Develop and manage internal ESG data infrastructure and reporting frameworks
  • Champion pilot projects focused on contract compliance, traceability, digital passports, and material innovation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to embed tech-forward sustainability practices
  • Establish approved supplier framework, in conjunction with licensees in line with global strategy
  • Drive performance improvement and transparency
  • Oversee traceability systems and ensure material verification

Client & Licensee Performance Management

  • Educate and support regional licensees on sustainability policies, due diligence requirements, and reporting tools
  • Support capability-building and accountability for sustainability KPIs across global licensees
  • Contribute and create training methodologies - webinars, toolkits, and supplier engagement initiatives to improve standards and awareness
  • across communities to drive standards and adoption, especially concerning accreditations
  • Respond to external sustainability data and capability requests from clients and partners.
  • Manage imbalance across regions and facilitate better consistency

ESG & Impact Reporting

  • Track and report key sustainability metrics, including Scope 3 emissions, responsible materials usage, and supplier compliance
  • Support lifecycle assessment efforts, product-level sustainability scoring, and alignment with the ESG framework
  • Prepare data for external reports, including client requests and group-level sustainability reports
  • Lead the development and production of the company’s annual ESG report

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Degree qualified (with relevant supply chain, environment studies or business degree)
  • A self-starter, with a focus on “getting things done”
  • Solid experience in supply chain, or procurement - ideally within smaller companies/networks within the merchandise, FMCG, retail or apparel sectors
  • Highly organised and detail orientated
  • Able to lead cross functional initiatives in fragmented global networks
  • A passion for impact focused business models
