Job summary

Civil Works Alliance (CWA) is seeking an Environment & Sustainability Manager to support Sizewell C by advising project teams on environmental and sustainability issues throughout site delivery. The role emphasizes delivering regulatory compliance and continual improvement across the program.

The successful candidate will lead a small team, manage cost estimation, and drive positive environmental outcomes within major infrastructure projects, aligned with CWA’s values and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in infrastructure environmental/sustainability roles.
• Proven experience leading a team.
• Cost estimation and commercial awareness.
• Degree in a relevant field.
• MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint to a high standard.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to operate in varied environments.
• Able to demonstrate the ability to positively influence environment and sustainability within projects.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Experience in implementing ISO14001.

Responsibilities

• Support and advise project teams on sustainability and environmental aspects to meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and develop effective environmental and sustainability standards for continual improvement.
• Engage and collaborate with Head of Environmental Management and Sustainability.
