Civil Works Alliance (CWA) is seeking an Environment & Sustainability Manager to support Sizewell C by advising project teams on environmental and sustainability issues throughout site delivery. The role emphasizes delivering regulatory compliance and continual improvement across the program.
The successful candidate will lead a small team, manage cost estimation, and drive positive environmental outcomes within major infrastructure projects, aligned with CWA’s values and client expectations.
As part of the CWA (Civil Works Alliance), you will support the building of Sizewell C. Sizewell C will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low‑carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and will play a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years. This role will be within the Marine and Tunnels Section.
The main purpose of the role is to support and provide advice to the project teams (particularly at site delivery level) on all aspects of sustainability and the environment with the aim of ensuring contractual and regulatory requirements are met. Inform and advise the project environmental and sustainability teams through co‑ordination and development of effective standards to deliver a culture of continual improvement. The role with directly engage and partner with the Head of Environmental Management and Sustainability.
