Job summary

Sizewell C Limited seeks a Sustainability Analyst to join the Civil Works Alliance (CWA) ESG team and support the Sizewell C project. You will analyse and report environmental data, manage dashboards, and drive sustainability across the supply chain and site operations.

The role emphasizes data literacy, collaboration with operational teams and ongoing improvement in environmental performance for a major infrastructure project.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in data management and analysis.
• Strong data literacy with ability to work with complex datasets.
• Knowledge of environmental management and sustainability in construction/infra.
• Degree in Environmental Science/Environmental Management or related.
• Understanding of standards such as ISO 14001, PAS 2080, GHG Protocol, SBTi, ISO 14067, ISO 20400.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to site.
• Experience using sustainability reporting platforms such as SmartWaste.
• Knowledge of DCOs and NSIPs.
• ISEP Practitioner Membership or working towards accreditation.

Sustainability Analyst Opportunity with the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), Supporting Sizewell C

As part of the CWA (Civil Works Alliance), you will support the building of Sizewell C. Sizewell C will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low‑carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and will play a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years.This role will be within theEnabling and Earthwork Section.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sustainability Analyst to join the Civil Works Alliance (CWA) on the landmark Sizewell C project.

As a key member of the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) team, you will play a vital role in managing, analysing and reporting environmental and sustainability data across a complex infrastructure programme. Working closely with operational teams, suppliers and project stakeholders, you'll help ensure environmental compliance, drive continual improvement and support innovative sustainable solutions on site.

What are we looking for?

• Practical experience in data management and analysis
• Strong data literacy with the ability to work confidently with complex datasets
• Knowledge of environmental management and sustainability within a construction, engineering or infrastructure environment
• Degree qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Management or a related discipline
• Understanding of sustainability and environmental standards such as:
  • ISO 14001
  • PAS 2080
  • GHG Protocol
  • SBTi
  • ISO 14067
  • ISO 20400
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office , particularly Excel
• Understanding of the utilities, construction or engineering sector
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to site when required.
• Experience using sustainability reporting platforms such as SmartWaste
• Knowledge of Development Consent Orders (DCOs) and Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs)
• ISEP Practitioner Membership or working towards professional accreditation.
