Job summary

Veolia in Aldridge, West Midlands, is seeking a Chemist to push for innovative solutions and help the environment through precise sample analysis and compliant lab work. You will analyse plant and incoming samples, assist with equipment maintenance, and ensure cleanliness and safety across the lab while working a 40-hour weekly rotating shift.

Responsibilities

• Analyse plant and incoming customer samples in line with procedures and standards.
• Assess deliveries, record vehicle details and maintain computerised records.
• Assist Technical Manager and Senior Chemist with lab equipment maintenance and paperwork.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and housekeeping in the lab.
• Promote health, safety, environmental awareness and site permit compliance.
