Job summary

Blackburn College is seeking a Green Skills and Construction Development Lead to shape the curriculum in Construction, Green Skills, Renewable Technology and Sustainability. You will work with the Curriculum, Commercial and Business Development teams to position the college’s offer locally, regionally and nationally.

The role focuses on co-creating and delivering the curriculum, developing resources to meet employer needs for full-time provision, T Levels, Apprenticeships and commercial

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Construction
• Level 2 qualification in English and maths
• PGCE or other recognised teaching qualification
• TAQA (A1, D32, 33) or willingness to work towards

Responsibilities

• Co-create and deliver the curriculum for Construction, Green Skills, Renewable Technology and Sustainability.
• Develop resources to support employer needs for Full-time provision, T Levels, Apprenticeships and Commercial provision.
• Support employer engagement and reputation enhancement for FE and HE.
• Help develop students’ employability skills and create realistic work environments (RWE).
